The problem

Public filings contain a great deal of information about investment advisers and private funds. The useful relationships are harder to see: which firms work together, who provides services to whom, and how those relationships change.

Research and business development teams need to connect that information before they can decide which companies to understand, compare, or approach.

What was built

9AT brings information from multiple public sources into one platform. It connects advisers, private funds, service providers, and contacts so that users can investigate a company in the context of its market.

The work includes adviser and fund search, service-provider relationships, comparison tools, and ways to follow changes. For fund administrators, auditors, and other service providers, that turns scattered records into a more practical starting point for research and prospecting.

My work

I work on the software and data systems behind the platform: collecting and processing source material, connecting records, building research workflows, and making the resulting information usable in the product.

That also includes applying AI where it makes an existing task simpler, such as expressing a search in ordinary language. The quality of the underlying data and the ability to check an answer remain central to the work.
